Description

The Medi-Cal Dental Basic and EDI training focuses on administrative processes for providers and staff. It covers the key policies and procedures, member eligibility, and comprehensive understanding of member eligibility and the proper completion and submission of standard billing forms. Participants gain guidance on reference tools, provider support resources, and proper billing procedures. The EDI section expands on this foundation by detailing how to retrieve and interpret EDI reports, generate mailing labels, securely send electronic attachments, x-rays or other supporting documents, and manage EDI submissions with accuracy.

A Provider Trainer delivers the four (4) hour Basic Seminar. Attendees may receive four (4) Continuing Education credits for completing the seminar and are encouraged to complete a training evaluation after each session to provide feedback and overall satisfaction.
