Practical guidance will be provided on completing and submitting claims and Treatment Authorization Requests (TARs), as well as participating in Direct Deposit. Additionally, attendees will gain insights into utilizing the Automated Eligibility Verification System (AEVS) and billing procedures for commonly used procedure codes, while also learning how to handle various member services such as California Children's Services (CCS), Genetically Handicapped Persons Program (GHPP), and hospital cases. Furthermore, the workshop will address the importance of compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
